This is related to the other thread. Of course, this is my opinion --- up to the raid leaders to make a decision.
Here's what I'd like to see posted by Friday evening...(my evil accountant side is taking over)
1) What bosses we'll attempt each night before the weekend.
2) A post on the site saying "Yes, I'll be there" or "No, I won't be there." --- If you can spend 4 hours killing trolls, I think 2 minutes posting your intent to attend is reasonable.
Additionally ---
The hour before start time we spend at least a few minutes discussing strategies for our tough boss fight that evening.
Role Leaders ---
Role Leaders will be helpful. Here's an example (Tiger/Thekal) from the Hunter view.
1) What aspect should each hunter have up? The Thekal bosses and mobs mostly deal melee physical damage. Thus 'Aspect of the wild' probably wont help much.' Aspect of the hawk' is probably a better choice.
2) Pet/No Pet? We need more dps and aggro mgt, particularly in phase 2. Pets should be up. Pets are a good way to dps the tiger spawns.
3) Aggro mgt (and I'm guilty of this) We need to feign often in phase 2 to avoid pulling aggro from the tanks.
4)Traps. The boss fights may force us into combat status immediately after feigning. Try to set an ice trap if you can. This is a way to deal with the tiger spawns.
5) Dots. Make sure to keep Serpent Stings on Thekal in Phase 2. That way the long health grind on the boss continues while you feign/deal with tigers
6) Positioning. We need a designated area for Phase 2 for Tanks, hunters, everybody else. If Thekal charges, feign. Perhaps we need to have a macro button that feigns us and tells the tanks 'Boss has aggroed hunters!!!"
