I've been MT this whole time in ZG so its time to share the knowledge.
Beasts
Snakes - There are two types of snakes. They are commonly called "Brown" and "Blue"
When fighting snakes its important to kill the brown snakes first and the blue ones last. Always use CC on blue snakes first. Usually I will have the blue ones sheeped because thats a good signal to people that they should be left alone. If there is a third mage I will have an extra brown one sheeped. Otherwise the 3rd brown snake is put to sleep by a druid. The 4th is tanked.
Brown snakes have a nasty habit of putting people to sleep. I am not sure how it works exactly. I think its a poison effect similar to a warlocks "Curse of Doom" or a "Chance to put target to sleep" thing. It seems to happen at random, not much that can be done about it.
Blue snakes have a poison volley ability. This is the reason they are killed last and one at a time. The poison volley is a frontal cone attack. If you don't know what this means: It is an attack that hits things in a narrow cone shape in front of the target. Things to the side as well as behind are not hit by the attack. When you break the CC on a blue snake it is important to point the snake away from as many people as you can. This will save the people that can cure poison a lot of mana. The best way to turn them around quickly is to run through the snake (yes you can do that) then jump and spin around.
Tigers - Come in two flavors. Elite and non-elite. The non-elite are "cubs" They will run away from the fight and bring the next closest set of elite tigers and whatever is near them. Kill the cubs quickly.
The Elites can be AoEed. Do your best to hold aggro.
Panthers - Come in Three Packs. Have more health than tigers. Tank them as best you can and AoE them.
Raptors - Come in packs of six or eight. Hunters use traps on the pull (one frost the rest are explosive) hold what Aggro you can and AoE.
Spiders - Come in three flavors.
1) Small brown spiders. Get burned in the AoE quickly
2) Grey Spiders. Also get burned in the AoE. have a venom that places a drunk effect on you. Turn off your full screen glow effect to remove the blur.
3) Red Spiders - Are crowd controlled and killed last. When alive they stun whomever is on top of the hate list. When they die they spawn more Grey spiders to AoE.
Fish - Nothing special. Either kill them or get out of the water. If they come on land and are evading, use the games "Target of Target" Feature and tell that person to get closer to the fish.
Trolls - There are many types of trolls in ZG (duh?) most of the fights are pretty straight forward others are not.
Axe thrower - They like to spin, the spin can not be interrupted by a warrior. Re-Sheeping or a rouges kidney shot can stop it. Other than that its tank and spank.
Hakkari Priest - Kind of annoying to fight. They die pretty quickly. Fight them as far away from other stuff as you can. They like to drop fear bombs. Stuns are your friend.
Blood Priest - These things are weird. They heal themselves out of nowhere. You can usually out DPS their self heals if we all go all out. I have also read that a priest can mind control them and use one of their abilities to drain their live onto another player. Then the mind control will break and it can be killed quickly.
Blood Drinker - Two ways to deal with these. What we do is tank it far away from the main raid then burn it down. This will negate their AoE "Blood Drinking" ability that heals them. The other way is to stun lock them while killing them. I have seen both work.
Champion - A warrior type. They have an ability that will charge a random person in the raid and knock them back a fair distance. Its important to keep your back pointed at a wall and not at other packs of enemy NPCs.
Berserker - The big bad trolls. have Thunderclap, Fear Bombs and a knock back ability. Its best to have two or three tanks on a taunt rotation. This will keep the thing attacking something with a lot of armor. Other than that you just tank and spank.
Witch Doctor - A caster type. Has a polymorph ability called "Hex" and a curse called "Shrink"
The hex turns you into a frog. The Curse is nasty. something like -200 Stamina and -100 Strength
when they die they spawn a ghost you cant kill. Stay away from the ghost as their AoE ability huts pretty bad.
Bat Rider - Always fun times when you fight bat riders. These come in a group will several non-elite bats. Take the bat riders far away from the AoE and tank them. While they are being tanked you should keep an eye on their health. When it gets close to 60-65% look at your chat box or the unit itself. When the bat rider emotes you should run away, he wont chase you. If you aren't watching the chat box you should look for the bats hands to be glowing. When they glow you should run away, again they wont chase you. When this happens they explode ans usually kill the unaware.
Shadow Hunter - A hunter type. If you are outside their minimum range they will start shooting arrows. Otherwise they will hit you with their sword. Tank and spank.
Head Hunter - Same as shadow hunters except they have a spear instead of a bow
Shadow Caster - These are near the spider boss. They have and multi target shadowbolt thats easy to interrupt. Tank and spank them with interrupts on their spells
Other Stuff
Voodoo Slaves - Warlock types. They have Rain of fire and summon infernal. They come grouped with Undead trolls. Sheep them first then kill the trolls. Break them one at a time and do your best to interrupt spell casting and stun.
Mistresses - Some are humanoid others are undead. Sheep or tank the humanoids, Shackle the undead and kill whatever isn't crowd controlled.
Mad Servant - A demon. Comes in packs of two or three. Use a warlocks "Enslave" or "Banish" to control the ones not being killed. Burn them down and have a hunter feign death. When they get back up they put a trap under the portal that spawns. When the portal disappears it spawns two voidwalkers. One will be in the ice trap and the other will be killed. Once both void walkers are dead you move to the next one and repeat the process.
High Priest Venoxis - There is an odd named trash mob on the way to Bloodlord/Spider when you are finished with Bat. Hes just standing there. The only reason we kill him is he has a 100% chance to drop Phat lewts.
Assign a tank to each of the snakes on his left and right. They will cluster them up to be killed by AoE.
The named mob is tanked Far away from the main raid group. He hits rather hard so that tank will need healers. When all snakes are dead the top two Melee fighters on the damage charts will go in and start hitting the boss. All others will hit him with ranged attacks.
From time to time he will cast a highly potent "Renew" on himself. A priest should dispel this ASAP.
When the mob hits 50% life he will transform into a large snake with large arms. He will drop poison clouds and the Main Tank should start doing laps around the bonfire there. Do your best to avoid the poison clouds he drops. Burn him down quickly and collect your lewts.
