Again confusing as hell, but the piture is worth a thousand words-as pictures usually are. Everyone that dosnt already know where to stand should refer to it b/c the fight is hard enough with out me painting a landscape that would prolly come out looking like picasso's second cousin's finger paiting. So on with the fight!!!! There are two ways to fight him and his raptor. 1) kill the raptor first 2)dont kill the raptor first The main tank tanks the bloodlord and offtank tanks the raptor. killing the raptor makes him get all pissy and he gets all enraged and bad things happen. He getenraged for something like a minute and a half. Attack speed increases 65% and attack power by 50. And he has a whirlwind ability that would seriously suck when hes enranged, so ranged dps might be the best course of action until this minute or so is over, then kill im as usual. Sound simple?  hahahhaha i rule you, erm uhhh i mean fooled...i fooled you. The bloodlord is a peeping tom so to speak.....he likes to watch people. But unlike peeping toms he anounces it-Good for us!!! When he announces that he is watching a specific person that person HAS to stop attacking completely. Hit escape twice to stop attacking. If you dont he does this debuff called 'Threatening gaze' which does nothing except inform you that you are going to die, by means of a guillotine attack that does weapon dmg +10,000. Then the bloodlord will go happily prancing around rampaging throughout the raid living up to his name and whatnot. so yeah thats a bad thng. Thre arent any spawns which is a good thing. Whichever way it is decided to be done is fine, i think the safest way is to offtank the raptor until bloodlord dies, then kill the raptor. Killing the bloodlord is semi-easy the whirlwind sucks, so non-tanks will have to back-up and bandage periodically. Healers will be reserved for the tanks. There are ghosts that wander through and offer to rezz you, but when they are all gone though thats it. so be warey of using tem, do not rezz if a wipe is inevitable. Another interesting thing is that he lvls everytime he kills one of us. So being mindful of your heath and the healers mana is key. dont yell for heals if youre not a tank or something, dont be a baby. drink a potion/bandage and get back in there!!! So much sweet stuff drops off of him, so even more motivation to kill him. As always the key to victory is this: Staying alive while making the boss dead!!! |

Reminds me of something a member of HnE told me while I was on their vent server for a Molten core raid.
"You guys wanna know the secret to getting server firsts? The trick is to get the bosses health to 0% while keeping the Main Tanks health at 100%"
to witch someone replied.
"OH IS THAT WHAT I WAS DOING WRONG!?! I was healing the boss"
