Alright then, lets get started. All of my changes are in bold.
#1 - Don't be a dick. Fans of the web comic Penny-Arcade may recognize this one. Jerks and A-Holes create stress and ruin fun by their presence. If you know me, you know I like to actually enjoy playing WoW. This is the kind of environment I like to foster. Cause problems and you're history, end of discussion.
#2 - There will never be a DKP system.I like to We use a loot system called "loot preference" before becoming a regular member of the raids you will be required to create a thread in "Phat Lewts" area that lists your top 5 desired loots. After a boss fight we will ask "Who had (item drop) on their list?" we will check your threads and the person that had the item at the top of their list will receive that item. These threads will be used to create a spreadsheet. People with items in their number one spot will have priority over people that have it in the number two slot and so on. In the event that two or more people listed the same item at the same rank, a simple roll will determine the winner. Items that do not Appear on anyones loot preference list are open for a free roll. You can put any blue or epic item on your wish list. This includes the Primal Hakkari drops. Use the space you are given wisely. You are also free to change your list at any time, if I catch you you are caught changing your list while we are determining who won the item that night, you will forfeit the item and may be subject to the punishment laid out in rule #1
#3 - Of all the ZG Raids I have gone on, the path taken has always been very linear. As a result, lack of raid commitment leads to the raid group doing the same 3 or 4 bosses over and over and over again. I don't like this, So I have devised a randomization function that I will only share with assistant raid leaders. If you want to try and crack my code, you are welcome to. This system will be used till the point where we can clear the entire instance in one night.
When the raid has formed, a raid leader will ask a random person in each group to pick a number. Using these numbers the raid leader(s) will determine what bosses will be fought that night. Hakkar will not be counted in this till we have all the High Priests down.
This rule is subject to change. I haven't heard of something like this done before. So I really don't know if it will work or not. If it works out well, we will keep it. If not, its easily scraped.
#4 - Raids will be on Friday and Saturday. You will be expected to be at the instance portal at 7:30 PM Server time. Show up fully repaired, full on reagents and ready to go.We start buffing at 8:00 PM server time and start moving after that. If you aren't there, thats fine. We start without you and you can catch up. There is no penalty for not showing up other than missing out on loot. Spots will be held in the raid for regular members till the raid has been otherwise filled. After that your slot is forfeited. If you show no intention or an inability to show up before the raid is filled, you will be notified of what has happened and the raid will start. If someone of the same class as you leaves the raid you can take their spot if you are online.
#5 - Use of Vent is required. If you don't have a mic, you still need to log on to the server and listen in. This rule will not be strictly enforced. But keep in mind that absolute refusal to download the free program and listen in will quickly lead to you not participating in the raids.
#6 - At the moment this is a ZG only raid group. Our goal is to take down Hakkar. Want to do AQ20? fine. MC? go for it. BWL? I wish you luck. However, I must stress upon you how important it is that you not lock yourself into a non CCROA ZG raid. If you do, and the instance wont reset before the next time we hit it, we cant take you with us. This is not a strict forbiddance of doing non-CCROA raids, just a gentle reminder that we need you. If you get a ZG invite and want to go, check the raid calender on the official WoW website to see when it resets. If it resets before we go next, feel free to go. If not, please pass on the chance.
# 7 - Know your class and how how to play it well. There are plenty of guides for every class on the Internet. Find one you like and study it.
#8 - If you say your going to be at a raid, please keep your word and show up. This isn't hard: finish up what your doing, and get yourself to the instance portal.
#9 - To encourage more devoted raiders, I will be giving loot priority to people who have put in an App and created a wish list. After that will be people who show up regularly followed by any pickups.
In short...
- Regular members who have Applied and created their wish lists.
- Regular members who have not Applied and created wish lists
- Any pickups
I shall not deny anyones application if I have asked them to apply. The Application is an easy way for me to tell that you are indeed serious about being a member. I am terrible with names, so it's really helpful.
#9 - To encourage members showing up regularly we have enacted a "Veterancy" rule. To gain Veterancy status you must show up for two consecutive weeks or in the event that we are full on your particular class make the attempt to show up. Please note that you must be on time for this to apply. If you are an hour late and expect a slot you are out of luck.
Loot Priority is as follows.
1) Veterans
2) non-veterans
3) Inactive members or pickups
#10 - We understand that your real lives are more important. Therefore we are not totally harsh on the removal of veterancy status.
If you expect to be absent for some time and do not want your veterancy status revoked, it is your own responsibility to inform one of the three following people: Kuracynn, Beautiqea or Danovan.
These people will make it known to the others that you will be absent. A note will be made of it and your status will remain intact.
If you do not inform these people of your absence, Veterancy status will be handled in the following fashion.
1 - After 2 consecutive weeks you will become a non-veteran.
2 - After 4 consecutive weeks you will be labeled as "inactive" while inactive you will be treated like a pickup. When you attend for a week you will be removed from the inactive status and moved up to "non-veteran"
3 - After 6 consecutive weeks your wish list and application will be deleted. You will need to re-apply if you wish to gain "non-veteran status" right away.
First: I propose the elimination of Rule number three, I don't see any need for it anymore. We have an "un-official" Boss order that we all like and works out well. At the rate of our progression I'm thinking we can do Bat, Snake, Tiger on night one. After we get tiger to the point that hes a joke we can make attempts on Panther. That leaves only the Spider (already a joke to us) and the Bloodlord (Quickly becoming a joke again) on night two. After that we just have Hakkar. Cool eh?
Second: I propose a total revamp of rule nine and update/clarification of rule two
The changes I have made to rule two reflect the new spreadsheet system that Danovan has devised. I have also removed most of the "I"s and replaced them with "We"
I have totally scrapped rule nine and rebuilt it. Go ahead and read.
Third: I have added Rule ten to describe how veterancy will be treated in terms of what happens if you don't show up.
Thoughts, suggestions, corrections, ideas? Let me know
