Sunwell Trash and You
We ventured into the Sunwell, not quite aware of what to expect. I did a quick look over what did what, but it was clear: We didn't have enough info at the time. After talking a bit about it, it sounds like we plan to go there more often. How often? I don't know. So, I've decided to write a simple guide to the loot they drop and what they can do. At some point, I'll attempt to add in how to take them down, but I have to do a bit of research first.
Trash Mobs
Nearly every mob in the Sunwell have the buff, Sunwell Radiance. This buff increases their chance to hit by 5% and lowers everyone's chance to dodge by 20%. Pretty nasty buff, but it is the final instance in the Burning Crusade, have to expect it to be hard. This buff (and its debuff) are not listed, but they are active up until the Twins, but we aren't doing bosses there just yet, so this doesn't apply to us.
Note 1: Damage is shown as its base value. These are not the exact amount they will hit for as armor and resistance will change these numbers.
Note 2: Item list might be incomplete. If you see I missed something, do let me know.
Sunblade Arch Mage:
Health: 190,000
Mana: 15,775
Abilities:
Arcane Explosion (Arcane): 2623 - 2584 Damage. 10 yard radius.
Frost Nova (Frost): 818 - 988 Damage. Roots. 12 yard radius.
Blink (Arcane): Teleports the Sunblade Arch Mage a short distance away.
Can be Crowd Controlled. (Polymorph, Fear, etc.)
Sunblade Cabalist:
Health: 190,000
Mana: 31,550
Abilities:
Ignite Mana (Fire): Consumes up to 4256 mana from raid member over 12 seconds, dealing 1900 to 2100 per tick.
Shadow Bolt (Shadow): 3150 to 3850 Damage.
Summon Imp (Physical): Summons Imps to fight raid. Can have more than one out at a time.
Can be Crowd Controlled. (Polymorph, Fear, etc.) Can also be sapped.
Sunblade Dawn Priest:
Health: 190,000
Mana: 31,550
Abilities:
Holy Form {Holy): Increases healing by 25% and lowers melee damage by 20%.
Holy Nova (Holy): 1750 to 2250 Damage over a 20 yard radius and heals for 15750 to 20250 in said radius.
Renew (Holy): Heals an ally for 16650 to 19350 every 3 seconds for 15 seconds.
Can be Crowd Controlled. (Polymorph, Fear, etc.)
Sunblade Dragonhawk:
Health: 140,000
Abilities:
Flame Breath (Fire): 2500 Damage in a cone that reaches out 15 yards.
Can be Crowd Controlled. (Polymorph, Fear, etc.)
Sunblade Dusk Priest:
Health: 190,000
Mana: 31,550
Abilities:
Fear (Shadow): Fears a target for 6 seconds. Can only fear one person at a time.
Mind Flay (Holy): 1850 to 2150 Damage every second for 4 seconds. Slows movement by half. Can chain to two other people.
Shadow Word: Pain (Shadow): 3750 to 4250 Damage every 3 seconds for 15 seconds.
Can be Crowd Controlled. (Polymorph, Fear, etc.) Can also be sapped.
Sunblade Protector:
Health: 550,000
Abilities:
Fel Lightning (Nature): 4163 to 4837 Damage that hits 8 players. The arc has a 60 yard range or a seemingly large range.
Can see through stealth.
Can't be Crowd Controlled.
Sunblade Scout:
Health: 21,000
Abilities:
Sinister Strike (Physical): Deals weapon damage plus another 450 Damage. (I could not find the amount for this, if you do know, please let me know.)
After aggroing the party, will attempt to activate a nearby Sunblade Protector.
Can see through stealth.
Can't be Crowd Controlled.
Sunblade Slayer:
Health: 240,000
Abilities:
Shoot (Phyiscal): 4675 to 6325 Damage.
Slaying Shot (Shadow): 25 damage every 2 seconds for 8 seconds. (100% damage (percentage based) for those 8 seconds.)
Could not find anything about Crowd Control. (If you do know, please let me know.)
Sunblade Vindicator:
Health: 240,000
Abilities:
Cleave (Physical): 10,000 Damage and hits up to 3 people.
Mortal Strike (Physical): 150% Weapon Damage (Could not find this number) and reduces healing effects by 50% for 5 seconds.
